Successfully negotiated a mortgage restructuring through a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization for a single-asset real estate entity that owned and operated Ulster Co. investment property. The Chapter 11 plan allowed the Debtor to retain the property and led to the discontinuance of the companion State Court foreclosure action.
FRANCHISE WIND-DOWN
Guided a multi-franchise holding company of several upstate New York franchises through a structured liquidation in Chapter 7 bankruptcy, resulting in a reduced surviving debt-load for the personal guarantors.
MULTINATIONAL ENGINEERING FIRM ACQUISITION
Represented the buyers of a multinational engineering firm from contract negotiation to closing, preserving key grandfathered rights of the corporation for the buyers benefit.

Successfully avoided debtor's "responsible party" sales tax liability through a strategically timed Chapter 13 bankruptcy filing.
